AMSTERDAM – On Wednesady, 3rd February 2020 the first M2M 1st Wednesdays monthly meet up organised by Filipino LGBT Europe was attended by Filipino LGBTs based in Europe and their allies.
M2M stands for Movie to Malefunktion Night, a social event that creates a venue for Filipinos in the Netherlands to meet fellow Filipinos, to meet new friends and to create support network within the community.
MOVIE
Every first Wednesdays of every month is also Pride Night at Pathe Cinemas where they features a Pride themed film. The foundation took this as an opportunity for it’s members to get inspirisation while having a relax evening watching a film.
MALEFUNKTION
After the movie, the group headed to Taboo Kantine for a drink to discuss and process the film and catched up while they listen to DJ Malefunktion perform and set the mood for the night.
Filipino LGBT Europe’s Amsterdam Canal Pride 2019 Choreographer Bobby Snijder is one of the two DJ Malefunktion that performs every Wednesday night at Taboo Kantine.
