Filipino LGBT Europe foundation has been selected as the LGBTQ+ Charity of the Year 2021/22 by Corporate LiveWire. “The judging panel was particularly impressed by the charitable contributions that the Foundation has made throughout the COVID-19 pandemic.” Global Awards Corporate LiveWire 2021/22 Committee said.

Adobo Video Fest 2021

The #SOGIEForward won as Best Mini Documentary in the Adobo Video Fest 2021 under the Independent Creator Category. The documentary series is made by the Filipino LGBT Europe and Commission on Human Rights in partnership with MUJER LGBT+ Organisation, ASEAN SOGIE Caucus, The Red Whistle, and The Royal Embassy of Netherlands Manila.

CEO Monthly Chairperson Awards 2021

Most Inclusive LGBT Foundation Chairperson

Chris Sta Brigida, Chairperson of Filipino LGBT Europe foundation, was awarded the Most Inclusive LGBT Foundation Chairman by CEO Review Magazine for their CEO Monthly Chairperson Awards 2021.

Ambassador of the Philippines to the Netherlands J. Eduardo Malaya handed plaques of commendation to the Filipino LGBT Europe for their “Ayuda sa Amsterdam,” where they extended food, medical and cash assistance to vulnerable Filipinos in Amsterdam.

LGBTQ Photo of the Year 2019 in Thailand

Filipino LGBT Europe Chairperson Chris Sta Brigida’s photo holding the rainbow flag on board the Balangay (Filipino LGBT Europe’s boat entry to Amsterdam Canal Pride 2019) was selected as the LGBTQ Photo of the Year 2019 by The Standard newspaper in Thailand.

Amsterdam Canal Pride 2019 3rd Best Design

Filipino LGBT Europe’s boat won third place, out of 80 participants, in best design during the Amsterdam Canal Pride Parade 2019.

It was the first time that a Filipino Asian boat sailed through the Canal Pride Parade, one of the most unique and biggest pride events in the world. It was the highlight of the month-long pride celebration in the Netherlands.
