Ayuda sa Amsterdam – Food Aid Distribution continues in 2021
Filipino LGBT Europe continues distributing food aid to displaced Filipinos in Amsterdam in coorperation with The Netherlands Red Cross and the Mozes and Aaron Church / Sant’ Egidio Community.

Digital Food Aid – Pilot Scheme
Digital Food Aid, a pilot program, was introduced to the Filipino Community in cooperation with The Netherlands Red Cross. Grocery food vouchers to buy food in Albert Heijn can now be sent directly to recipients via WhatsApp messaging system. Philippine Embassy The Hague supports Ayuda sa Amsterdam Food Aid Distrbution
Fifty Filipino Senior Citizen received Grocery Food Vouchers from the Philippine Embassy the Haue, Vitamins and Medicine from FILCOM NL (the ad-hoc alliance of Filipino Organisations in the Netherlands) and Grocery Packs from Moses and Aaron Church and De Papegaai Catholic Community in Amsterdam. Received Commendation from the Philippine Embassy The Hague
The Philippine Embassy in the Hague commended the Filipino LGBT Europe foundation for its efforst to facilitate the vaccination of Filipinos and other migrants in the Netherlands on its Facebook post on 22nd May 2021.

BIGAS para sa Kalayaan 2021
In commemeration of Philippine Independence day on 12 June 2021 Filipino LGBT Europe – Ayuda sa Amsterdam presents BIGAS para sa Araw ng Kalayaan 2021 with special guest: H.E. J. Eduardo Malaya, Philippine Ambassador to the Netherlands.

BAYOTA – Home of Filipino LGBTIQ+ in Amsterdam inaugurated in the Netherlands
As part of Pride Amsterdam 2021 week long celebration, a community center was officially opened for the Filipino LGBTQ+ community in Amsterdam.
Filipino LGBT Europe foundation chairperson Chris Sta Brigida together with benefactors Godwin & Wimmo Yosalina-Bouman led the ribbon cutting ceremony. Some friends and members of the community joined and celebrated with the foundation to mark the occasion. 🇵🇭 🏳️🌈 🏳️⚧️ ❤️

Received Commendation from the Philippine Embassy The Hague
Ambassador of the Philippines to the Netherlands J. Eduardo Malaya handed plaques of commendation to the Filipino LGBT Europe for their “Ayuda sa Amsterdam,” where they extended food, medical and cash assistance to vulnerable Filipinos in Amsterdam.

Received Best Mini Documentary award for #SOGIEForward
The #SOGIEForward won as Best Mini Documentary in the Adobo Video Fest 2021 under the Independent Creator Category. The documentary series is made by the Filipino LGBT Europe and Commission on Human Rights in partnership with MUJER LGBT+ Organisation, ASEAN SOGIE Caucus, The Red Whistle, and The Royal Embassy of Netherlands Manila.
