AMSTERDAM – Filipino LGBT Europe Chair Chris Sta Brigida presented a token of appreciation to the Red Cross Netherlands General Director Marieke van Schaik for their help to the Filipino Community in the Netherlands during COVID-19 pandemic.
“May this token of appreciation remind us that during the time when help is most needed, our organisations, the Filipino LGBT Europe and the Alliance of Filipino Organisations in the Netherlands, together with Red Cross Netherlands, were united in giving aid to Filipinos who were affected most by the pandemic,” Sta Brigida said during the presentation.
Sta Brigida was invited by Red Cross on Wednesday, 26 August 2020 at their Amsterdam Office to give some insights of the impact of Red Cross’s help to the Filipino Community.
