On Friday, 12 March 2020 Filipino LGBT Europe celebrated its third anniversary with the Ayuda sa Amsterdam – Food Aid Distribution volunteers. It was done after the group of volunteers distributed food aid and assisted persons who came for the Medical Bus mission by the Dokters van de Wereld.
Filipino LGBT Europe Chairperson Chris Sta Brigida thanked once again all the volunteers for their commitment to help the community.
“It’s already one year since the European lockdown and it’s been also a year since we started our Community-help in response to COVID-19. Today as we celebrate the third anniversy of the foundation, we also celebrate the spirit of volunteerism and camaraderie of all our volunteers. Thanks guys for keeping your fire burning and continuously being a beacon of hope to many.” Sta Brigida said.
