The Filipino LGBT Europe celebrated its 5th founding anniversary at Bayota Community Centre in Amsterdam, the Netherlands, yesterday 8th March 2023.

“Commemorating our founding anniversary is a significant and symbolic way to recognise the efforts of all volunteers and members of the Filipino LGBT community as we push for an inclusive and free society,” Filipino LGBT Europe chair Chris Sta Brigida Kopp said.

The foundation also commemorated the International Women’s Day and gave flowers to all women present during the anniversary celebration. 

Filipino LGBT Europe chair Chris Sta Brigida highlighted the significant contribution of women in our society. He also highlighted that Lesbians, Bisexuals, Transgenders and Intersex women are also women. 

“Today we also celebrate the significant contribution of ALL women including the minorities within the women sector.  Let us remember that the Lesbians, Bisexuals, Transgender, Intersex women are also women too and we celebrate you too!” Sta Brigida Kopp said.
