Filipino Pride Forum 2025
Building on the success of the inaugural Filipino-European LGBTQIA+ Advocates Forum held in Amsterdam in 2023, and its second installment in Vienna in 2024, Filipino LGBT Europe is proud to announce that the 2025 Forum will place at Centro de Filipinas en Madrid in Madrid, Spain in cooperation with the Philippine Embassy Madrid.
Now on its third year, the annual gathering of Filipino LGBTQIA+ Advocates across Europe will move forward under the new name: the Filipino Pride Forum.
This year’s forum continues to serve as a safe, inclusive, and collaborative platform for Filipino individuals across Europe to connect, share experiences, and learn from one another. It aims to inspire and empower participants to become agents of positive change within their communities and beyond.
The forum also offers a unique opportunity to engage with other migrant communities who have faced similar challenges and discrimination in Europe. It will serve as a platform for the dialogue, solidarity and formal establishment of support networks across the continent.

Filipino-Spanish LGBTI+ Community joins Madrid Pride 2025 to call for the passage of the SOGIE Equality Bill in the Philippines
Filipino-Spanish LGBTQIA+ community members together with Filipinos coming from various countires in Europe will join oncea again Madrid Pride parade on Saturday, 5 July 2025 in Madrid, Spain.
“We will be in the streets of Madrid once again to call for the passage of the SOGIE EQUALITY BILL in the Philippines. This bill is very important as it will guarantee that ALL Filipinos will have equal access to education, health care, government and commercial services and protection at work.” Chris Sta Brigida-Kopp chair of the Filipino LGBT Europe said.
Mado Madrid Orgullo is one of the biggest and most popular pride events attracting ten of thousands participants from around the world. It has become, on its own, the biggest urban event in Europe. It has grown from small Pride demonstrations in the 1980s to the massive celebration of today, without ever forgetting its purpose of advancing the rights the LGBTIQ people.
There are around one million Filipinos living in Europe, a quarter of which are residing in Spain.
