Filipino LGBT Europe is excited to launch its poetry writing contest. In celebration of the month of love, the inaugural edition of the competition centers on the theme: “Migrant Love”.
The foundation will award three prizes to the winning poems. First prize is €75, second prize is €50, and third prize is €25.
Deadline of submission of entries is on 20 February 2022.

Winners will be announced on Wednesday, 23 February 2022.
The announcement of winners will be accompanied by readings by works of a featured Filipino writer currently living in Europe.
This month’s featured writer is Nimruz De Castro, poet and fictionist.

Nimruz A. De Castro, poet and fictionist, is a recent resident of Amsterdam. He is yet to learn to properly ride a bike or swim. His works have appeared in digital and book format. He was a Best of the Net (Poetry, 2021) nominee.
